⦿ 5cm is the recommended safe distance for the PURE
Ultra-Heat mini heat gun. If using an industrial heat gun,
significantly increase the safe working distance to avoid
damaging the carbon fiber material.
⦿ Components will be hot, so take proper precautions and wear gloves if necessary.
⦿ You may allow the glue to fully cool, but cleaning will be more difficult.
⦿ The Ultra-Heat mini gun should not be run for longer
than 10 minutes. Then allow 10 minutes cool down time.
⦿ The Stick Doctor kit can be used with any stick brand.
⦿ Other brands of tips may not be pre-glued like the PURE tips.
⦿ In such cases, the Stick Doctor glue gun can be
used to apply additional glue inside the shaft.
⦿ The special PURE Ultra-Glue can also be purchased separately.
⦿ Preheat the glue gun for 5 minutes.
⦿ Do not leave on for longer than 10 minutes.
⦿ Ensure the glue gun is held vertical to discharge the glue.
⦿ The special low temperature properties of the Ultra-Glue
make it very soft after 10 minutes. If the trigger does not
push the second stick forward, switch off and allow to cool
for 10-15 minutes. Or grasp with your fingers and help
push it through.
