ABOUT OUR TIP

PURE's high performance ribbed tips are 2.4" long, allowing for optimal shooting precision and passing control.

Our tips are specially designed for durability and are securely fastened in the shaft.

They are replaceable and come in black and white.

TIP MAINTENANCE

If you notice the tip starting to loosen, you can re-secure it by re-heating the shaft above the tip.
This will re-flow the glue and re-bond the tip inside the shaft.
When re-heating, keep the stick vertical with the tip down so the glue flows downward.

Using a high quality hair dryer, heat the shaft just above the tip, rotating the stick 90 degrees every 15-20 seconds for about 4 minutes.
We do NOT recommend using a heat gun as that can warp the shaft.

If some glue oozes out, allow it to cool and then pick it off as in Step 7 below.

If this doesn't seem to work, add more glue to the tip. (Glue from a glue gun works great.)

TIP REPLACEMENT

Step 1

Using a high quality hair dryer, heat the shaft just above the tip, rotating the stick 90 degrees every 15-20 seconds for about 4 minutes.
We do NOT recommend using a heat gun as that can warp the shaft.

Step 2

After 4 minutes, the tip should be easy to pull out. If not, heat for longer.

Step 3

Use a hair dryer to warm the glue on the new tip. (Our tips come with glue already on them.) Intermittently warm the shaft, rotating as before, to heat all areas.

Step 4

Once the glue is melted and clear, it is ready to be installed in the shaft.

Step 5

Slowly slide the new tip into the shaft, the glue will overflow a bit. Ensure the tip is straight and aligned with the shaft.
